1. Credit Services Organization (CROA) Disclosure
Built Different Credit is a credit services organization as defined by the Credit Repair Organizations Act (CROA), 15 U.S.C. § 1679 et seq. You have the right to dispute inaccurate information on your credit report yourself, without charge, by contacting Experian, Equifax, and TransUnion directly. We do not guarantee specific results. You may cancel your contract within 3 business days without penalty.
2. Services Provided
Built Different Credit offers credit dispute assistance, credit education, and credit-building coaching. Services include: Free Credit Audit, Full-Service Credit Repair ($150/month, month-to-month), DIY Credit Repair Kit ($47, one-time), and Built Different Credit Cohort ($297 per 3-month term). All services are educational and advocacy-based.
3. No Guarantee of Results
We cannot guarantee specific credit score increases or the removal of specific items from your credit report. Results vary based on individual credit history, the nature of negative items, and bureau responses. Inaccurate, unverifiable, or incorrectly reported items may be removed; accurate and verifiable negative information cannot be legally removed.
4. Payment Terms
Full-Service Credit Repair is billed monthly at $150/month. You may cancel at any time with no cancellation fee. The DIY Kit is a one-time payment of $47 with no recurring charges. The Cohort is $297 for a 3-month term. All payments are processed securely. No refunds after services have commenced unless required by law.
5. FCRA Rights
Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), you have the right to dispute inaccurate information with credit bureaus at no cost. You are not required to hire a credit services organization to dispute on your behalf. Built Different Credit exercises these same legal rights on your behalf as your authorized representative.
6. Client Responsibilities
You agree to: provide accurate information about your credit situation, authorize us in writing before we access or dispute on your credit reports, notify us of any direct communications from creditors or bureaus, and not submit disputes independently while under our full-service plan without notifying us.
7. Limitation of Liability
Built Different Credit's liability is limited to the fees paid for services in the 30 days prior to any claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. We are not responsible for decisions made by credit bureaus or creditors.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes shall be resolved in Dallas County, Texas. These terms comply with CROA, FCRA, and applicable Texas state law.
